There are some fabulous areas to visit around North America. I have been blown away by some of the places I have been able to visit or to live in. I couldn’t pick one over the other though. These are five of the places that were among my best picks though. I would go back to anyone of them in a heart beat!
The Arizona Sun Corridor is one of my favorite places to go. I have had the pleasure of spending months there at a time. It isn’t far from the big metropolis of Phoenix but far enough away that you can enjoy the lovely surroundings. There are also three other metropolis areas that fit into this location too.
They include Prescott, Nogales, and Tucson. There is something very relaxing about the mountains and the sand around. The Sonoran Desert is to the West and it is a very nice place to check out if you get the chance to do so.
West Vancouver is one of my favorite places to go. I lived there for about 8 years, and enjoyed it tremendously. The city has plenty to offer, so you can spend time there for shopping, dining, and entertainment. I liked being able to get to the beach in no time at all. I could go from the hustle and bustle in life to the quiet tranquility there. I also enjoyed the fact that the winters weren’t very cold at all.
The Detroit and Windsor area of Michigan are remarkable if you ever get the chance to head that direction. There you can spend time at the Great Lakes. Of course the winters can be brutal but you will still get to experience a huge change in the seasons if you go during that time of the year. I prefer it in the summer when it is warmer though. In the spring, I have caught some amazing fish around this region too which is always exciting. I also enjoy all of the bridges they have there that take you across the river.
Pittsburgh Pennsylvania has to be one of the prettiest places to visit if you enjoy the river. It all goes in a big circle so you can’t get lost. Of course if you get on the wrong bridge, you are in trouble! They have one of the largest downtown markets not far from Heinz Field. This is a great place to spend the day enjoying the culture and finding terrific deals on various items.
One of the lesser known places that I like to go for a vacation is around the Texas Triangle. The humidity takes some getting used to, but it is worth it for all you get to experience. You can be in the huge city, you can go to the beach, or you can go see the cattle and the oil fields. It is quite the overall experience for the things that Texas is well known for.
The major cities in the Texas Triangle include Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Austin. It is awesome to see it all lit up at night too, so try to get a bird’s eye view of that once if you can!
If you get the opportunity to visit any of these locations in North America or to live in them, do so. You won’t have any regrets as they have so much to offer. It all depends on what you enjoy though to put your life in balance. Those elements can be very different for each of us.
